I hope you had a lot of fun playing as a student at Beacadamy.
Hope you enjoyed the storyline and collecting all the endings!
I created this website becuase I wanted to make something fun for you to do, game-style.
This was created right after the DS, so I hope you can envision this as another game in the DS.
Hence, it's a horizontal layout, as opposed to my usual vertical layouts fit for phones.
Before making this, I was worried that it would be quite complex to make a game.
But it was actually quite simple, with most of the scenes, character sprites, and dialogue being conditional forms of if x then A, else B.
As with you, I am against AI art, which is why the backgrounds are made by artists.
みんちりえ had some more cool backgrounds… which could be perfect for a Beacadamy 2 setting? Haha…
The outfits, on the other hand, were generated on via my favorite photo editing app, Meitu.
The generation was pretty poor though, so if you look closely, you'll be able to see that I manually photoshopped the outfits to make the designs consistent with each other.
Bonus points if you can spot them out without me telling you!
I think I have more confidence now to make a game!
It was quite nice to see the code flow in a systematic way.
Maybe I'll be able to venture out into phone apps next time!
